Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort
Being a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm resort and located within easy reach of Belize's many inland adventures, Hamanasi is the ideal place to base yourself to enjoy the natural highlights of Belize. This eco-friendly resort arranges daily trips to the reef to dive and snorkel and a range of trips inland that include visiting Mayan Ruins, hiking to waterfalls and tropical birdwatching.
Rooms include Beachfront rooms, Treetop Suites and a Honeymoon Suite. All are air-conditioned, have private porches and are decorated with hardwood furnishings, Central American folk art and Mexican tiled bathrooms.
Dining can occur either inside or outside at the resort restaurant from a menu that features international cuisine with a Caribbean twist.
Onsite facilities include a freshwater infinity pool and private sandy beach. Complimentary use of bicycles and kayaks.
Diving and Snorkelling trips take place daily from Hamanasi. Dive with experts on the barrier reef and beyond at Glover's Reef atoll (minimum. diver number required). Nitrox diving is available and trips to dive with Whale Sharks take place at certain times of the year. Snorkelling guides accompany the snorkelling trips in a dedicated boat, Diving certification courses are also available.
Our comment: We highly recommend a stay at Hamanasi, the resort grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and stylish and the staff are warm and welcoming. Hamanasi is also a 30 minute boat ride from some amazing snorkelling and diving which their expert guides ensure you appreciate fully.
