This holiday is ideal if you have only a week to escape and want to combine a bit of relaxation with some adventure. By spending the week based in the luxury Chabil Mar Villas in Placencia you can rest on the beach opposite your villa, swim in one of the infinity pools and take dinner overlooking the ocean.

More energetic days can be spent snorkelling or diving on the Barrier Reef. Taking a boat trip on the Placencia lagoon to spot manatees or a boat trip along nearby Monkey River further south to spot Howler monkeys. Day trips to the mainland to visit Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary and Jaguar Preserve and the Mayan Ruins of Nim Li Punit or Lubaantun are highly recommended.

In the evenings either dine at the resort or enjoy the bars and restaurants of Placencia village.

Day to Day

Day 1

Fly from London to Houston, Texas via Continental Airlines. Overnight in Houston (Room Only).

Day 2

Arrive Belize City and transfer by short propeller flight to Placencia to stay in seaview villa at the luxury Chabil Mar Villas (Breakfast).

Day 3-6

Four further nights at Chabil Mar Villas (Breakfast). Relax on private beach or swim in one of two pools, stroll along beach into town or take complimentary bicycles. *Optional excursions could include a day snorkelling with a lunch on one of the sand cayes. Alternatively take a boat to spot manatees on the Placencia lagoon or down Monkey River to search for Howler monkeys. Or take a daytrip to see the less-visited Mayan ruins of Lubuntaan or Nim Li Punit in Southern Belize.
