Matachica

Matachica is a luxury and stylish beach resort that is located 5 miles to the north of San Pedro town on Ambergris Caye. The beach is beautiful and peaceful with a tropical feel and the views of the reef are spectacular. You can kayak to the reef here to snorkel or there is excellent snorkelling a short boat ride away.

Getting There the resort runs it's own speedboat into San Pedro town to pick up guests.

Rooms are 21 individual thatched casitas, 2 two bedroomed villas and a 3 bed house. The casitas start on the beachfront just 50 feet from the sea and then graduate backwards. The casitas are all air-conditioned and have patios.

Dining onsite at the renowned Mambo restaurant, dining is available inside in a low-key setting or outside on the romantically lit patio. There is an excellent choice on the menu, plenty of seafood options.

Onsite facilities Freshwater swimming pool and jacuzzi, Jade Spa, pool table, movie lounge, Wifi in main lounge area, complimentary bicycles and ocean kayaks.
